Main fields of application: Mechanical lubrication of surgical instruments in the final rinse in special
washing machines.

Characteristics: neodisher IP Konz is a lubricant based on highly purified liquid paraffin and
emulsifiers in accordance with the official German pharmacopoeias.
neodisher IP Konz is added to the final rinse water of washing machines for
instrument lubrication and disperses as a fine emulsion. Remaining residues
on instrument surfaces do not resinify during the sterilisation process.
Because of its emulsifier content, there is no interference with steam sterilisation.
In subsequent cleaning the film is removed again without residue.
neodisher IP Konz is not suitable for instruments sterilized with hot air.
neodisher IP Konz is subject to a final bacteriological check and is free from
vegetative germination.

Application and dosage: In special washing machines for surgical instruments:
1 – 2 ml/l using suitable dosing devices, added to the final machine rinse
water of the washing programme. The water for the final rinse should have
a temperature of at least 50 °C.
We do not recommend neodisher IP Konz for use in immersion baths because
of the danger of uncontrolled introduction of germs.
Alternatively, neodisher IP Spray may be used for treatment after automated
reprocessing.
Do not mix with other products.
Reprocessing should comply with all ordinances pursuant to the Medical Device
Directive and should be performed with appropriate validated processes.
